my voice echo

Hey did you figure out the solution to echo problem? I'm having the same issue with my Polk 4 Shots. When I'm in a party everyone says that their voices are echoing.

I just remembered an important detail. If my friend mutes his mic in either of the aforementioned scenarios, the echo stops. In fact, as the echo happens, his ring lights up in the party chat to indicate that his mic is picking up my voice and, once muted,
it no longer lights up.

Thanks, I have tried turning down the volume, no luck - just a softer echo. To be clear, it's my voice that it repeats not others. And the mic doesn't 'project' my voice though the headset initially, so it isn't 'echoing', I suppose, it just 'plays'
with a delay what I said. So when I speak into the mic, there is a second or two delay then my words 'play back' through the headset. If that makes sense!? Related to this, should I be normally be able to hear my voice through the headset, as I am speaking,
because I don't - except for the delayed sound. Thanks again!

I don't think it's my Headset. 360 has voice monitoring where your voice comes through just slightly so you know how loud you are. (Not talking about an echo). Xbox one doesn't have this feature it's total noise cancelation.

Problem: I hear my own voice as an echo when in party chat. Other members do not hear it, and say my sound quality is great.

I have had this problem using both Turtle Beach Elite 800X and LucidSound 50X. I was able to eliminate it eventually in Turtle Beach, but cannot remember how I did it. IIRC it was a random occurrence so I might be a problem on the other end with some ones
headset.

I've read all the "Headset Echo" reports, specifically, all the other party members hearing their voices echo when an individual with a defective headset joins. Is there a way to do a self test to validate my mike is transmitting okay while verifying I
don't have an echo?

I'm using headset only with atmos sound. There used to be a way to make adjustments in the party menu but seems things have changed there.
