My very disappointing phone call with customer service about Halo MCC. Time for a class action ...

I made a post yesterday on this forum about why I purchased an Xbox One, which was for Halo MCC and was unaware of the issues the game was having. I saw a TV ad and I got that nostalgia vibe.

So I called into customer service to look for a refund since I am unable to return the game now, or the Xbox One so I was at least hoping to get a refund on the game in the meantime or some sort of compensation for MS and 343 advertising a broken product to
push the system. Honestly the game should be recalled until it's fixed and the TV ads should stop, or at least come with a disclaimer. It's very misleading.

How did customer service react to my dissatisfaction?

Call #1

The customer service rep fell short of just flat out calling me stupid for not knowing about the issue with the game because the "it's a known issue that's all over the web and it's not our fault you didn't research it" and then hung up on me. I did not
get his name, which sucks.

So my take on that is not everyone is going to do a search for a game collection for Halo because most of the people who are buying this are older gamers who already know what they are getting. Why would I research that? I expected a quality product from
Microsoft for their flag ship series because they have never let me down before, until now.

Call #2

I asked for supervisor and got a girl named Heather. Pretty much the same deal sans insulting me but telling me that there was nothing they could do and that MS was not false advertising their game and a fix is on the way. No offer to compensate me what
so ever. After years of supporting them, I got the cold shoulder.

This is NOT how you treat your customer base when you release a bad product and now I am going to look into the possibility of seeing if there is any class action lawsuit ave against Microsoft and 343 for releasing a broken product and continuing to advertise
that product on television, web ads, print ads with no disclaimer to sell systems and the game.

I think it's terrible how MS is treating their customers right now and they should be taken to task for it.

It may be a waste of time to look into but I am putting it out there to see if there's a possibility because they should be held accountable.

If anyone else is interested if there is any traction on this, I guess post in this thread and I'll keep you guys updated.

Lag Spikes when Playing online games

When playing games such as Halo: MCC and Call of Duty Black ops 3, there is times where, like for example in call of duty, it will spike and have the cord plugging into the jack saying network issues. Halo there is just high amounts of lag. I was told to
make a post on here from a Xbox Customer Service representative because she said it could be an issue with the preview program.

I just got off the phone with Edelson LLC who I found after "researching" class action lawsuits against video game companies.

They are currently handling a lawsuit for an Aliens game that was released broken and have had a alot of success with previous cases. It's what they specialize in.

They are interested and I am going to be getting a call back.
