My version is different from my friends' version

my version is 1.7 of xbox one(it's not the xbox one edition),when i try to get into the game it says they are out of date

I cannot join my friend on windows 10 minecraft.

Not sure if it is still possible but you might have different versions. When I downloaded the Minecraft better together beta on my one. I could not join my windows 10 version until I downloaded the beta for win 10 version also. You or your friend might have
the win 10 version while the other has the new better together version of Minecraft.

 

Is bully SE worth buying?

From my understanding, the Xbox 360 version is a port over from the PS2/Xbox version. Aka, it is not a different game. However, it does have cheevos.

For console updates you would need to go to Settings > System > Updates & Downloads to see if there is an update available.

For specific game updates you would go to My Games & Apps > Updates. Or find the game and select Manage Game and Add ons.

Which game is giving you the issue?

For Minecraft, if someone is in the preview they may not be able to join, or have people join them.

 

My problem is in minecraft.

because I had the minecraft xbox one edition and Microsoft gave me the
new that is the preview edition, do you have to change it?
