My usb stick 3.0 isn't recognize anymore as 3.0 on my xbox one X

If you have problem to set your usb stick as capture location and you are sure it is a 3.0 or your computer says X:\ is not accessible, the volume does not contain a recognized file system. please make sure all required file system drivers are loaded and that the volume is not corrupted, when you put the stick in you're pc

Do these steps

1- Format it as NTFS don't remove it from computer

2-Launch command prompt as admin and type : sfc/scannow (a first time and restart pc)

3-After restarting pc do another time step 2

4-Go in your usb stick properties and launch a repair

5-Put it back in your xbox it should works

I used my stick to put my reccord on my pc and the stick isn't recognize anymore as 3.0 .

It's a Sandisk Ultra Fair usb stick.

I've tried to format it as NTFS with the windows tools and with Rufus to try because rufus work for ps3...

I would actually suggest you to run sfc and chkdsk and repair your drive to test. Sorry I could not think about it before to save you some time.

You do not need to change the letter. Only format it to NTFS. When you format it to NTFS it appears as FAT32 again?

impossible to read any other usb stick, I can't change the letter because it will came back to his original letter, it is the D: letter i put it at A: letter I unplug plug it and it came back to D:

I don't understand, my old usb stick can't be read but the cd drive part in, is usable and my external HDD too, it's just the usb stick that can't be read I'll try a third one to see if all usb stick are impossible to read

I really don't know what to do, my first usb stick 3.0 came back again at fat32 I've done absolutely nothing with this one, I tried 4 usb and 2 are usable and 2 are not usable there's no logic, and on the old one I can use the disc drive but not the basic partition only the disc partition.

Yes, it appears as NTFS but when I remove the drive it automatically came back to fat32. It's like the usb automatically came back to default setting or previous settings.

And when I type in the command prompt it says it's already NTFS so I look properties and it says NTFS too but my xbox one doesn't want to use the stick as storage media... It says you need to format the drive before you can use it when I plug it back in my computer.

I've already try to turn it off unplug the xbox leave it 1min and plug it back, I've look if there's system update on my pc & Xbox.

So there's what I've try :

1-Format it again as NTFS

2-Run sfc/scannow

3-Try to repair my usb stick with properties

4-Try again in my xbox

5-It seems to work now!
