    My USB ports don't work


    Hi everyone,

    I bought an Xbox SX in November e it's great but i have a big problem.

    I bought an external HDD yesterday and i plugged it into my xbox and it doesn't work.

    I tried everything: restarting the console, unplug everything from the console and everything i found on the official website or reddit.

    Also my pc and my ps4 can recognize the HDD with no problem.

    Furthermore i have tested if electricity runs in the USB ports with the appropriate tool and there is electricity!

    I thinks it's and hardware issue, but i hope to find a solution here.

    If your console is very old it's possible that it's finally starting to give up the ghost. You should consider doing what I did before it dies outright - find a gaming store near you that has a great trade in deal and trade your console in for a newer model
    with a warranty. I traded in my older console for a new slim during a trade in offer at my local gaming store and basically got my 250 gb slim console for $130.

    So the USB was blank? I don't think my USB ports are getting power at start up did you have that problem? Just keep trying and trying and it worked eventually?

    Also don't forget to try something random on your Xbox. Maybe a USB or charge your phone. It could also be your Xbox USB port not working. Try the USB ports on the back or the sides depending on which Xbox you have.
