My Upload Speed is Terrible And It Is Good Everywhere Else

So I am usually running at about 40 MBPS for upload speed. On wifi my upload speed has been varying from 25-30. However on my xbox, while plugged in, doesn't even get 2 MBPS, as well as I am at like 1-2% packet loss everytime I run the speed test. I have tested multiple devices on the wifi and the upload speed is normal. I have plugged a laptop into the ethernet cord I am using, and on the laptop got 35 MBPS. Only on the xbox is the upload speed not working. I have cleared my MAC address, I have restarted my console back to factory settings, and nothing has worked. Anybody have any idea what is going on?

    :)

Hi! My name is Pam. I'm an Independent Advisor and I'll be glad to help you today.

You can try this: 1. Please go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > DNS settings > manual

    2. Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8

    3. Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4

You might also want to check with your network provider if ipv6 is enabled on your router.

    Terrible Upload Speeds

my thought is it may be a glitch in it like the MTU was at 510 was a little while ago, they blamed your router until they figured out it was them. As we know from experience Microsoft tends to have allot of problems and doesn't like to admit them or point
the finger when they cant figure it out. its probably a coding issue cause i get 75 down and 75 up wired to a computer but i get 75 down and 2.3 up on my xbox one with a open nat through the modem itself. Hopefully they are working on a fix to this though
cause everyone is experiencing this issue.

My Xbox game clips are lagging

I think it has something to do with your wifi upload speed, maybe check how fast your upload speed is. Strangely for example if i use my 4G hotspot my clips don’t lag but as soon as i clip stuff on my wifi it does. This is because the upload speed of my wifi is terrible apparently...
