My *** up xbox one internet

Well I have a had a strict nat since christmas at 1st i thought it was normal but then i started having issues. Heres all my issues. I have a strict nat. whenever I do test multiplayer connection I get Can't get a Teredo Ip address. when i go into Detailed
network statistics I get this for detailed nat info Your network is behind a firewall (or not connected) wtf does this mean I can connect fine to xbl but I can't connect to ea servers or get into any online match what so ever.

My router is a belkin router F5D8236-4v1

My modem is a xfinity one

Ive tryed many things like turning upnp on and off ive also tried enabling dmz using my xbox's ip. I also tried port forwarding.

I am desperate to get this fixed i do not want to spend money just to fix this dumb thing.

My network wont connect to my laptop.

my wireless networking adapter (the one with one antanna) is picking up my internet connection and is also connecting but for some reason my internet connection wont connect to the internet. All of the other devices in the house are conectring fine. Its
just my xbox that wont

Can you please post the specific brand and model of your "modem" (X1 is just the name of the Comcast service offering)? It may be on the bottom or back of the device. My guess is that it is actually a gateway (modem+router) and that, as a result, your
Xbox One is behind double NAT, which is problematic.

 

My guess is it's one of these, which is a gateway:

customer.comcast.com/.../wireless-gateway-1

If so, please post the specific model number, which will probably be one of those listed there (i.e. TG852G, TG862G, SMCD3GNV, TC8305C).

 

Initial diagnosis: double NAT, which prevents you from getting open NAT. Your "modem" appears to be a gateway (modem+router), which if so creates a problematic double NAT situation when combined with your router. To verify double NAT is the issue, please
log in to the web interface of your router and note the WAN/Internet IP it reports (WAN IP, not the LAN IP!). If that IP differs from the one reported by
Trace My IP | IP Address Tracker | IP Tracer | Computer Hardware IP Visitor Location, then your Xbox is behind multiple layers of NAT (double NAT) and getting open NAT will require special steps.

Basically, you have 3 options. One, you can put the gateway in bridge mode. Google the model of your gateway plus the words "bridge mode" and you will probably find instructions--e.g.

forums.comcast.com/.../1707801 (seemingly bridge mode on this model can only be done by a Comcast
technician)

.Once routing has been disabled on the gateway, use your router to forward ports via UPnP, manually, etc.

Two, as an alternative to placing the gateway in bridge mode, which can be complex for the inexperienced, you can try putting the WAN IP of your router in the DMZ on the gateway then use your router to forward ports via UPnP, manually, etc.

Three, you can get rid of the gateway and replace it with a modem-only device instead. Or, connect the Xbox One directly to your gateway and do not use your Belkin router.

I am going call comcast to put it in bridge mode hopefully they will put it in there. Thanks for guiding me in the right direction
