My UK xbox 360 works for 20 minutes in Brazil, then gets 3 rings

I bought my Xbox 360 (arcade) from the UK. I have since moved to Brazil. I plugged it in here using a plug adapter, I didn't expect it to work because the UK is 220v and Brazil is 110v, but it did and I figured the power brick must be bi-volt (even though
it says 200-240v on it and not 110-240v). But after 20 minutes, it shuts down and flashes 3 red lights on the front. I can power it back on, and it'll work again for another 20 minutes and then the same thing happens.

I wondered, would buying a Brazilian xbox 360 power supply fix this issue?

I heard it might be because the surge protector built into Xbox power supplies are set up based on a region, so mine is set up for the UK, whereas a Brazilian power supply would be suitable and set up for this country.

I wondered if this might be the solution or if anyone knows what it could be?

So, I have the first Xbox 360 (the white arcade) and I turn in on and it plays for like 20-30 mins and then it will randomly turn off and go 3 red rings, I've gotten red rings in the past but not like this, it works for 20-30 mins and THEN the lights come
on, is this a problem with my console or power brick? does anyone have an idea? thank you!

 

Clarification Needed For Regional Conflicts, Restrictions etc.

OK - I have an Xbox Live account (UK) on my 360 (which I assume still works), I live in Brazil, and I'm hoping to buy an XBox One in the US next week. Essentially, what I want to know is
if any of that slightly messy arrangement is going to cause problems!?

I know games are region-free, and I know that Xbox Live basically uses your payment data to establish your location/region, but I would like to know if there are going to be any issues - particularly if there's a conflict between any of the three.

On the PS4, for example, I can buy games in Brazil - and they work fine - but the download codes for extra content and whatnot often don't work because of the conflict between my account region, and the retail region in
which the game was purchased.

On my 360, my account seems to work fine here (other than, rather annoyingly, constantly changing itself to Portuguese), but I've never actually tried to buy anything from the store whilst here, and I only ever played games bought in the UK (because they
were region locked).

• With the above arrangement, would there be a problem playing a game bought in the US, or Brazil with a UK based account?
  
• Would there be a problem downloading additional content in Brazil, for a game I'd purchased in the UK (or US)?
  
• Indeed, would I be prevented from downloading additional content etc, if my account's UK registered, but the game's bought in Brazil (or the US)?
  
• Would I still be able to download full games, Games with Gold, etc, from the UK store, even though I was based in Brazil?
  
• And finally, is it even possible to have a UK based account - particularly if I buy the Xbox One from the US, and then set it up in Brazil?

Basically - How the hell does the region thing work - and what problems/issues/restrictions etc exist for a UK/US/Brazil tri-vector of confusion?

You must have the correct power brick for that region.

The voltage in Brazil is not enough to power a U.K. power brick

 

Makes sense, but I found it strange how it still works for a while, if the voltage was not enough then how could it power on in the first place?
