My two Xbox 360 consoles not working anymore

Good day, Ambardo Alec Balgobin here, from Guyana, I have two Xbox 360 consoles that do not work as I would like anymore. The first one which me and my two brothers had put together all of our money during Christmas Eve to buy. This model is the Xbox 360
S which was bought from 4-8 years ago and after 2 or 3 years after we bought it, it started failing to read any movie or game disc that I would place in the tray for it to read, It does not read any disc anymore. After attempting to read a disc that I may
put into the disc tray it would fail to read the disc and says "Unrecognized disc" for every disc I put into the console; we then put away and abandoned the console for good. After a few years, maybe 3-5 years after, we bought another console, a Xbox 360 E
model to be exact, and after a few years of using the console it started developing problems with the consoles overall disc drive. This console fails to completely open the disc drive, and wouldn't let the disc tray completely out at most times. If the disc
tray fails to open then we would give the console a little tap on top, just above the disc tray, then the tray would open, but would be stuck half-way out, we would need to pull out the tray to then put in the disc tray into the console for it to read, but
fails to do so and instead says "Open tray" after the tray has been closed with the disc inside, after the console had attempted to read the disc. Now the fist console, the S, we position that console upwards, vertically and the other one that we bought after
the S, the E, we always positioned the console down flat, horizontally. I have checked the Microsoft website for help on a solution for this issue, but failed to find any solution whatsoever, and instead found a bunch of stuff that I have already tried to
solve this problem. NOTHING WORKED! Can someone please help me with this issue, PLEASE?

Will the same two tier license work on Xbox One as it did on Xbox 360 though? e.g. you get a license for the console and a license for the Gamertag.

 

Connected to the internet but can't connect to Xbox Live

Same problem here since two months ago xbox one console will not connect my live account, but my 360 console has always worked fine on the shared wife router. Xbox live owes me two months of service as of this time.

 

Here is some information to get your console repaired. Even though they are out of warranty you can still request a repair for your consoles. It might be worth looking into buying a new Xbox 360 if you can't get a repair request approved.

Paul from the Xbox Forums Team here to assist, I see that you are experiencing an issue with the Xbox 360 consoles not reading discs. What I recommend doing is contacting
customer support
to see what other advanced troubleshooting steps are available for these Xbox 360 consoles. Unfortunately at this time Xbox 360 consoles that are out of warranty are no longer being repaired. Please let us know how it goes.
