    Hi.

My 4k tv is the samsung ue40ju6000 with latest firmware.

I open my new xbox one s 2tb console and install the latest system update(Console & controller).

After that i put my mail & password from my gamertag i have from my xbox360 console.

I go to settings -> display & sound -> video output and i choose 4k uhd(I try even 1080p) as resolution and at advanced video settings i have choose

tv connection auto-detect(recommended) and all the for games & apps check it on except 3d because doesn't let me because my 4k tv isn't 3d.

colour depth 24bits(I try the other two choices(30bits & 36bits) still nothing change.

I try even to disable the "Allow 24hz" because i saw at one xbox troubleshooting is this the reason of this issue but still happened.

Another thing is i try to connect 3 hands-free(Samsung, iphone, htc) at audio jack port of xbox one s controller and even it recognize i have connect hands-free i can't send any audio message or i can't hear or speak at party chat.

So please tell me what is you advice me to do to eliminate these issues.

A lot of thanks for your time and your answers.

    :)

  2. No Signal with Samsung TVs

I’ve always been able to switch the console between my Samsung KU6300 and a smaller, older 720p Samsung TV, both using HDMI for connection.

However, starting a few weeks ago with the Xbox One S, i started receiving a “no signal” when connecting to the older Samsung TV. But it worked fine with the newer 4K Samsung TV. Then I got the Xbox One X and the same thing still occurred; only worked on
    the newer Samsung TV.

Today, however, I was trying to troubleshoot the Xbox One X to the older tv again. And after several failed attempts, I switched back to the newer Samsung TV, and started receiving the same “no signal” issue.

One weird caveat to this is my PC connects to the older Samsung via HDMI just fine.

Before you ask, it is not a bad HDMI cord.

I’m in the preview program, so whatever the latest update is there is the software I’m using.

Any tips or troubleshooting techniques is greatly appreciated.

Xbox One will not with smaller TVs (32inch and 24inch), but works with big samsung (50 inch)

Hi, the samsung TV is model P2770HD.

The xbox sends a signal and powers the tv on and off, but no video signal.

The xbox is working and the ports on the tv are working (i tried direct tv devices and all the porta are working fine.

The HDMI cable also worked with xbox ONEand another, new TV (samsung smart tv).

    It is an Xbox One.

Upgraded to Xbox One S now surround sound no longer works (0x80bd0009)

Derek, this is an issue with the way the TV is communicating what speakers it has to the console, which is what the EDID signal is. This is not something Microsoft can resolve because we do not have control over what signals the TV sends out. You will need
to work with Samsung to find out the settings that need to be changed to have the TV communicate that it's hooked up to more speakers than just its two speaker system.

The reason why this worked with the Xbox One original console is because of the HDMI ports. The Xbox One S has been upgraded to have more strict requirements, and before the original consoles ignored the signal the TV was sending. Now it cannot, and the
only way to change this is by settings in the TV.

Spoopy had to essentially hack his TV in order to make this work. Only Samsung can help you out with doing that, we will be unable to assist with it. We can help you understand what you need to say to them, though, to get them to look into this further.
From what I can tell, it's easier to resolve this on Vizio TVs than Samsung TVs, but I do not know the full specifications to get this to work. You are free to post back the model number of your Samsung and I can see if I can further assist with pointing you
in the right direction, however I will still refer you to them for the best assistance.

    Xbox One S - starts only in 640 x 480 mode

I have exactly the same problem with the XBOX ONE S console. The console issues a resolution on two of my 4K TVs, only 640x480. Prior to this, the console on these TVs showed an image in 4K resolution. Resetting video tastes and full reset of the console
with the firmware did not help! Such a feeling that the console blocked the signal! Help your advice! Thank you !

    HDMI not connecting

I am having the same problem, the console is sent to repair 2 days ago and waiting now.

    Here is my story.

I bought xbox one s 2tb at launch, it was working fine on my full hd samsung led tv (5 series), playing almost everyday, and week ago i bought new tv. Samsung tv 7series suhd 4k. I set the resolution to 4k, Console was working fine on my old tv (1080p),
After playing forza horizon 3 demo and fifa 17 demo i lost signal, i rebooted and got the signal back, but when i turned on console the next time i wanted to play, i could know get the signal, tried diffrent hdmi cables and tvs but no signal on screen, every
possible way to fix but no way to be found to fix the problem.

I personally think that having console on 4k resolution for few days or playing new games demos like forza horizon 3 and fifa 17 got graphic adaptor or hdmi port something that triggered this issue. Lets hope that this does not happens when i receive it
    back.
