my tv monitor is stretched and is not filling the whole screen, hasnt been like this before, how do i fix this?

    Hi and thanks for reaching out. I hope you’re doing well. I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you and I'll be happy to help you.

    Kindly try resetting your display settings by following the steps below;

    1. If there's a disc in the console, eject it.

    2. On the console, press and hold the Power button on the front of the console for 10 seconds to turn off the console.

    3. Press and hold the Power button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You’ll hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep. Don’t let go until you hear the second beep or see the console start-up in low resolution mode (the Xbox startup screen will appear slightly pixelated).

    NOTE If you have an Xbox Series S or Xbox One S All-Digital Edition, press and hold the Xbox button and the Pair button instead, as your console doesn’t have an Eject button.

    4. In either case, this will start up your console in low-resolution mode (640 × 480). To change this setting, press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide. Go to Profile & system > Settings > General > TV & display options, and then select the resolution that you want from the options under Display.

    Sometimes dropping the consoles display output to 480p will sort of trick your tv into filling the screen, the picture will probably look stretched though.

    You could also check to see if your tv has a setting something like fill screen, that might work.

    Notifications of success at the top of the screen?

    What notification do you mean exactly? When I do the quests there ist the XP screen wich fills the whole TV or Monitor.

    will the Xbox one have cinema zoom to get rid of the black bars for Blu Ray like the 360 had for dvd?
No my tv only stretchs my screen like they all have..
Are you saying your TV does not support a "fill" option? Mine does. Mine has several zoom options and they work with HDMI inputs.
