My thoughts on what should have been done differently in this games single player campaing and ...

This game could have been great but EA as usual pooped the bed with it in a royal fashion, the driving mechanics for the single player campaing are hideous to say the least the steering is cluncky and the cars seem to be unresponsive to controller input
at times which leads to a very sluggish feel to the steering it almost feels like your fighting with the car to get it to respond to your controls and I know there is a least a minimum input lag of around 5ms for most games but it seems to have been exagerated
to well beyond the 30ms range and at times seems to take as long as ten to fifteen seconds which is completely unaccpetable.

This game is therfor unplayable due to the control input lag issue and yes I even tested using a corded controller and the lag was still there as in very noticable.

I would have liked to have seen a steering sensitivtiy control option where you could have set the steering sensitivity to the desired level as it seems the Dev has coded in way way too low which only compounds the lag issue mentioned earler.

I've been playing racers since the early nineties and have only come across a small handful of them that are this bad and were talking games designed for the N64 and PS1/2, you'd think any game on the 360 would be better based on better design mechanics
but nope.

I've been getting random disconects from the EA servers with the error code 800D0000 which from the research I was able to do is thought to be associated with packet loss from EA's side so there is no known fix for the player to do we just have to wait it
out, are you kidding me come on EA you take our money and then wont maintain your service its amazing your still in business.

Battlefield 3 servers crashed in single player?

I went through this this morning. I haven't played for a few months, but thought I'd give this POS game one more go in SINGLE PLAYER MODE...but apparently you need EA SERVERS to play the friggin' campaign all of a sudden. What a load a crap! And I'm sorry,
restarting your current mission from the beginning to get around this EA ERROR is just not acceptable to me....

 

Good observations.. My issue is free roam mode in sp. Why the hell is it there it is useless, they could've at least given the option to chase , or be chased by cops.... It is a waste of hard drive space...

 

Ypu are all knitpicky.... the game is amazing.
