My Thoughts on No Man's Sky

This game seems to be in a development like hell.

There is an excellent video on Youtube by Crowbcat called "New Disappointment Discovered: No Man's Sky (2016). (Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8P2CZg3sJQ).

Essentially details all the promises that were made with the game when it was being shown versus to when it was released to the public.

It has been essentially three to four years since it has been released and it looks like there is still a team that is dedicated to improving the game.

But the whole initial launch and the broken promises has set a bad taste in everyone's mouths and they have essentially dismissed the game as a failure or an attempt at a quick cash grab (like Fallout 76).

I am hesitant to get the game because of it's rocky history, even though it has been essentially four years, that's how bad the damage has been.

If it ever goes on Gold I would be very excited, might pick it up if it goes half price or better in a sale.

Soon as this game hit Game Pass I got it.

I played and liked it so much, I went out and bought it.

Been playing for months now and still going through all the content even though it's not a big game.

I really enjoyed it.

Are there more updates coming? I have been curious but haven't played it yet. If its complete, I may have to try it out now.

When it first came out, the game was extremely disappointing and was not the game that was promised. I believe that they have really redeemed themselves recently though, and the game is now what it was supposed to be at launch
