    Hello,

    My tenure on my Xbox One is showing up as 9 years, but I have been a paying Xbox Live Gold member since day 1, all the way back in 2002 with the launch of Unreal Championship. I have had the account continuously throughout that time frame, with no gaps in
    service. My gamertag is . I also received the 10 year member gamer pic a couple years ago which I have attached to my account, so I think there must be some sort of error.

    Hi are you aware of the new recalculation, the sticky ironman posted has it in there, but in short, the tenure is now calculated by full year gold membership only, silver membership no longer counts. So for example in my case I have been a member for 10
    years have paid for 4 years worth of gold. However I have not yet finished my 4th year of gold subscription, so my tenure correctly shows 3 years.

    The tenure counter on Xbox Live appears to have some issues affecting random users, it's something that's being looked into by Xbox Support (see here: forums.xbox.com/.../441105.aspx). Follow that link, there's a handful of troubleshooting steps you can
    try to see if it'll revert to your correct tenure.



    Remember Tenure increases every time a full 12 months of Xbox Live Gold time have elapsed on the account. Also, being Silver will not cancel the Gold time acquired, but tenure will not increase until Gold time has been added
    again.

    if you haven't yet, please try the following steps:

    • Delete your PROFILE ONLY from your console
    • Power down your Xbox one console
    • Give your console a little breather! Wait 30 or so minutes and power your console back on.
    • Re-download your profile
