We have confirmed the following agreement with Sony and Microsoft: Via a special offer, anyone who purchases and plays the PC/Mac version of The Elder Scrolls Online by the end of June 2014 will have the opportunity to transfer their character(s) to the
Xbox One or the PlayStation4 version when it is released.

The offer will allow players to begin playing immediately on the PC/Mac, and then add the Xbox One version or the PS4 version and transfer the character(s) they have created and developed.

And, players don't have to pay full price for the game twice. For $20, eligible PC and Mac players will have the option to switch to a
full, digital version of ESO on the Xbox One or PS4 with their character transfer(s),
and another 30 days of included game time.

I honestly don't see how anyone gets any kind of huge advantage no matter how long they have been playing or how impressively over powered they may be when they enter. A newbie won't see them and any level 10 who ventures into Cyrodil has always faced the
same problems the first time they arrived no matter when that occurred. Everyone will have to learn the controller set up from scratch no matter who they are. On the other hand, if someone is feeling puny they can just hide out somewhere until they get over
it. Personally I will be bringing in an assortment of Almerii Dominion types not one of which has leveled past 10 or left Auridon so the world will be brand new for me even though I have been playing for a while now.

 

Good points...I'm trying to now map Pinnacle to the perspective xbox one configuration so that I'm for the most part ready.

 

Is there a single player campaign in this game and side quests? The story is really all I'm interested in.

 

Heres why I think this is a mistake to buy big time. I bought it for the the pc and it sucked. MMOs dont work on consoles and when they kinda work theyre trimmed down and shallow (destiny). This game will have no community in a game where you have to
have one. I love the ES games, but this one sucked monthly fee or not. Im guessing its going to be a like PC except with a player density like destiny. MMOs need an extremely large and loyal fan base. The PC game doesnt even have one... I dont know why
they didnt cut this for good i thought they had.

 

And i dont know what was changed for consoles but the single player campaign was within the multiplayer universe. Like you could solo everything but people are going to be in the middle of your quests. Its an mmo. Also the story is completely hollowed
out because its an mmo that was my biggest issue with it.

 

Well, that sounds annoying. Guess I'll start looking forward to Elder Scrolls VI then. However, from the rumors I'm reading about that, if I can't go anywhere in Tamriel and buy a house in High Rock and I'm stuck in Black Marsh or Elsewhere the whole time
with a bunch of lizards or cats with laryngitis, I swear, I will fake my own death.

 

It's a great game from Lvl 1 - 50 and considering there are three factions and multiple character classes it's worth $60.

The game is 90% doable solo except for certain dungeons and obviously raids.

Other than group dungeons the group required content is very limited.

It's an MMORPG but fighting is very similar to TES.

Give it a try if you like RPG's but the controller set up works great.

The poor design comes in after level 50 but hopefully they remove the VR levels and VR silver and gold quests which will make this game a lot better

 

Yeah, I'll probably get it anyway. I'm a sucker for limited edition ES games. Especially ones that come in gigantic boxes and have big plastic Alduin statues that I just noticed that I need to dust off.

 

I have been waiting for ESO to come out on the X1 and look forward to playing it. I love MMORPGs and love XBOX so I hope this becomes a winner with a fat community. If it's a success than othe rgame developers may begin to breath life into the console MMORPG
customer base.

 

so now the question is: wil it be worth it to es fans and will we be able to play with friends ina casual coop sorta way? not interested in pvp at all and shared dungeons are ok as long as friends can get in together been playing neverwinter and it seems
pretty good, mifgt spend a little money on it even

 

Personally I really enjoy the Elder Scrolls series. It is one of my all time favorites, even though I have only played Oblivion and Skyrim. I plan to get Morrowind in the very near future also. I will have ESO for the XB1 and I am itching to get my hands
on it. As someone who is not frequent MMO player I am very excited to play the ES universe with friends and to make new friends because of it. Every game has its bugs at launch.. **cough Unity cough** but time has proven that with time and a little patience,
games can be very fulfilling. Anyway that's my thoughts on the matter.
