My sync button on my console will not work no matter how many times I hold the button down...

I have this every single time I connect my Headset. I can exactly reproduce the issue.

If Headset is connected and I turn if the console, the console will turn on again and controller can not be paired anymore, no matter how often I try to connect/sync it.

I HAVE to completely shutdown the Xbox by holding down the power button and just then it's possible again to re-sync the controller. It somehow gets out of sync when I shut down the console while headset is connected. (Steelseries Arctis 9x)

It's obiuosly a bug which I can reproduce every single time. How can I report this?

Also, you can try this... hold the sync button down on your Xbox 360 console (the white button that syncs your xbox to the wireless controller). Keep holding it down, and press the power button to boot the console. Do not let go of the sync button at any
time. The console should completely boot up, and in the process, it will delete the new, failed system update, allowing you to boot your console and try to re-download the system update that you need.

Try a factory reset

First turn on the xbox then hold down the power button until the console shuts off

Then hold the Sync button and the eject button at the same time then tap the power button while continuing to hold the sync and eject, you'll hear 1 power up sound then a second sound, continue to hold until you hear that second power up sound

If this doesnt work your best bet is to contact the xbox live support team

Reset XBOX 360 Failed System Updates

With the console off, press and hold the sync up button.

While holding the sync button press the power button to turn on the console

Continue to hold the sync button until the Console has booted up completely.

During the boot process the console should clear any failed updates, allowing you to use it normally.

Had you tried holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down? If not give that a shot and see if it helps.

Also, if the controllers are not connecting properly try holding the sync buttons to see if that helps. The sync button on the controller is at the front and the sync button on the console is on the left side just in front of the usb port. Be sure to hold
the buttons until the Home button on the controller flashes.
