My subscription to Xbox Gold is not active even though it says it's paid for.

My games with gold don't launch and it tells me to renew my subscription even though I have a subscription active and paid for. Do you have any idea how to fix this?

Even though the Xbox Live Gold trial subscription is free, we need a payment option on file because the subscription will renew to a paid Xbox Live Gold subscription unless you cancel it. You must add a payment option such as a credit card or PayPal to your
account for it. If you don’t want a paid Xbox Live Gold subscription after your Xbox Live Gold trial subscription ends, you will need to cancel it.

If there is no subscriptions there, it means that the subscription is on a different account. Please check the other accounts you have access to.

You can also check all the accounts you have downloaded on the console then do the steps below to see which account has an active subscription.

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, and then go to Profile & system > Settings > Account > Subscriptions.

In order to be able to download it, the following must all be true:

-You have an active paid Xbox Live Gold subscription

-That subscription shows on your Microsoft account as active

-Your console region, account region and physical location must all match and represent where you actually are

-The game must be available in your region

-If you are attempting to claim the game on Xbox One, you must have an attached payment method on your account (even though the game will be free)
