My Stereo Adapter Can't use with earphone splitter

Hey Santkill, are you saying that that the Apple earphones should work with the Stereo Adapter? Everything else I've read on the net says they are incompatible. Apple earphones use OMTP (apparently).

Ya I updated both of my controllers.

I had the X41 on with the chat cord plugged into the headset, then the adapter cord, and finally to the stereo headset adapter. I was in a chat with friends and couldn't get the chat sound to work. I previously used my phone earphone buds with a mic and
that seemed to work.

Sadly what you want to achieve exactly isn't possible. There is another way around but it means purchasing a "Startech.com 3.5mm 4 pin to 2x 3pin 3.5mm Headset Splitter Adapter - M/F" from amazon, along with a Stereo Headset adapter and another mic. You
then plug your Krackens into the headphone part of the splitter the seperate mic into the MIC part and then plug that into the Xbox Stereo Headset Adapter.

Apparently you can but you need extra equipment.

Hi mate. Thanks for your reply. I recently found this converter on Ebay:-

I had to have a similar set up on my 360 only one jack that plugged into that splitter (in the second link) had to be a component cable to 3.5mm converter.
