My Spotify playlists on xbox one will no longer play

My playlists under "Your Music"on Spotify for xbox one will no longer play directly on xbox one although albums and suggested music from Spotify play just fine. Even more strange is that the playlists will play on xbox one if initiated through
my pc. Click on a playlist on my PC and it immediately initiates the tunes on my xbox one TV screen. I have talked to both xbox support and Spotify but they were unable to resolve the problem. I have uninstalled app on my xbox, reset the xbox and reinstalled
the Spotify App. Same issue remains. Would sure appreciate it if anyone could help resolve this issue.

Spotify issue on Xbox

I am not able to load or listen to saved playlists on the Xbox One via the Spotify app. I can listen to my saved playlists on Spotify through a web app on a PC or my phone but not on the Xbox as of the last few days or so. I can still browse and search
new music and play new music but i generally like build playlists to use for gaming and am not sure how to get that feature back. Thanks!

 

Spotify on Xbox 360

Hello,

I'm a premium subscriber for Spotify and I have an Xbox Live GOLD account and I was wondering if there's any way for me to stream my Spotify playlists through my Xbox (Can't really find nothing on the internet so this is my last hope).

I currently stream music from my laptop but it's not ideal, I've also connected my iPod Classic and play music through that but again, I'd prefer to just use Spotify as all my playlists are on there.

I'm confused as to why there isn't a Spotify app on the Xbox yet, I'm guessing it's got something to do with Xbox Music or whatever it's called.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this.

Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

 

I tried the hard reset, and it made no difference at all. It would be hard to expect that to matter, but I tried it anyway, as I'm having the same issue. It appears to be a problem with the app.

 

It seems like a lot of people are having the same issue and Spotify Support is aware of the issue and they are working on it from what I read.

It's a great option for playing music while you game. This problem is new, but it's a pretty big one, and I'm sure it will be fixed. My other biggest issue with it was only finding one of my playlists when searching from a friend's logged in account. That was
frustrating not seeing all your content in the search results. Still, a nice option for Xbox which I hope only gets better.
