My sons xbox one x will not allow him to add his account.

Bought my son an Xbox one x console for his birthday in may and haven't been able to add his account so he hasn't been able to play on it. everytime we click add new it stays on a black screen loading for a long period of time then
goes back to home page. nothing else happens.

x box live account

hi all,

after some help, my son has a x box live gold account, unfortuantely his xbox died yesterday i have got him a new one but i dont know how to transfer his old x box live account to new xbox.

My child's Privacy and online safety

I set up a account for my child when he was a child on the xbox360 he now has an Xbox one and wants to download some M rated games and I'm fine with that now because he is no longer a child but a young adult but his account won't allow him to download
the games saying that he needs to change the online safety setting we he got to change the settings it says that I must log onto my account and change it from the this is a problem because I don't have a account so I tried to make one and add into my sons
family and this did not work as his account won't allow him to add family members not sure why I had to go though this huge system to fix my sons account but I hope you can help me fix this

Perform a hard reset EXACTLY like this.

Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

If that doesn't work contact support directly for assistance with the account. Contact Us | Xbox Support

My son is playing his account on the Xbox one. He's on the Xbox set as the home console. I log into the series x and send him an invite to join me but as soon as the game starts on the Xbox one it wants him to buy another game pass.

I am having the same issue and when going to the settings on the family account, there is no option to change any settings allowing my son to add friends on Minecraft on his switch. I can set screen time restrictions, content restrictions, etc. But nothing
for allowing him to add friends on applictions.

I am here with my son, i bought minecraft for him under my account. now every time my sons tries to log into any xbox game it does not allow him to log in under his account. that does not help him when he's trying to get in servers, get achievements etc.

I'm having exactly the same problem. My son has his Xbox One at his mum's house but his account is linked to mine so the only way I can change his settings to allow him to buy games with Xbox vouchers he has is through my account on xbox.com but it isn't
working.
