My son's x box will not reinstall one of his games. Fornite

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues installing Fortnite on your son's Xbox. For us to isolate the issue, kindly share the exact error message that you are receiving.

Does this happen only with Fortnite and the rest of his games are working and can be installed normally?

To make sure that what you are experiencing is not related to your device cache, I would recommend that you perform a power cycle. Please note that this is different from a regular restart, Kindly follow the steps below.

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 50 seconds.

Important: Make sure that you wait at least 50 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If you don't see the green boot-up animation when the console restarts, repeat these steps. Make sure that you hold the power button until the console completely shuts down.

Important If your console is in Sleep mode, the above steps will shut the console off completely. Sleep mode, or the ability to turn on your console by saying "Xbox on," won't be enabled until you restart the console.

Hi, Trying to sort this for my son. Will he lose anything on fornite by removing and adding the account?

My sons is an x box one s and mine Is just the x box one. We can't sign in to either of our accounts on both consoles!

my sons x box is saying he doesn't have permission to have x box live why ???/

Tried cross platform play on WOT I'm on the x box one,son on his 360,when in the platoon section it didn't even show him as being online,even though his settings are 'appear online',sent him a game invite through the x box friends section andhe doesn't receive
it,same the other way round,very confusing and annoying
