My son set up his account under my(the parent) email

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that your son uses your Microsoft account for his Xbox profile information, and you are interested in learning how to move that to a different Microsoft account. Does your son use the Xbox One,
Xbox 360, a Windows 10 computer or a mobile device to play games? The Xbox profile information, game licenses and add-ons can't be moved from one Microsoft account to another.

The reason we ask if which device he is using is because you can set up your account as

the home console profile on the Xbox One in order to share the games and content to all the other accounts on the console. He can then use a new account and still play those games. However, the saved data will not be able to be transferred to a different
account. Be sure to let us know the results!

I have the same question. I want my son to login to Xbox with his email so I can put limits on how long he plays. He currently uses my hotmail account to login. He doesn't want to lose his Fortnite progress, so he continues to login with my email.

His email is set up as a child account under my account. When he logs in, he doesn't have access to xbox live either. I would think it would carry over since it's all under the same parent account.

Is it possible to transfer everything to a child's email account?

My son has his own account as do I. We have it set up as a family. Fortnite will load under my account but is showing the error if he tries to open under his account. Fyi, he’s already been playing yesterday and everything was operating as it should, same
time of day. Parental controls are set at default.

OK this is dumb. It asked me to verify and then signed me in as my sons account. (I set up his account under the same email I use to verify email.....That comment was from me.

Nothing can be transferred between accounts.

If you are on the one, set the console as your Home console and that will allow him to access your gold.
