My son opened a new user

My son's XBOX time is monitored by us. We suddenly saw he opened a new user (to over-ride his time limit). he managed to open it without getting our permission and it is out of our family circle.

HOW IS IT POSSIBLE ?

1 Gold Account for the whole family

My son has a gold membership on his 360. I don't have a gold membership. If I add my son's profile to my new Xbox One, then it will give me gold membership as well?Click to expand...

I don't have a 360 anymore, and don't have an Xbox One, but I would imagine that adding the account to console will automatically open up multiplayer to all users on the console.

Discs not reading properly.

Add me to the list too got my son one for x mas just opened last night plunged it up today and not reading disk. Could not get ahold of no one at Xbox called Amazon they sending me a new one got my fingers crossed it will work or I want my money back.
My son ran across the room when he opened the Xbox one he was so happy. Thanks for *** up Christmas bc of crappy hardware. Unreal this is even happening .

Sorry to hear it. It sounds like your son created a new email address and then created a new account either on the console or xbox.com and used a false birth date.

If you would like to permanently delete the account you can follow the instructions here.

Even if i'll close the one he opened, what will prevent him from opening a new one ?

i need a way to protect an control his actions.

This is where parents have to learn to be sneakier than the kids. Since you know what he's doing, find a way to beat him at his own game. Change the Wi-Fi password, for example. Take the power supply (or controllers) to work or lock them away somewhere.
There are devices (like Circle) that you can connect to your network really easily that will allow it to block any traffic from any device for any reason. Any thoughts on trying something like that?

OMG that is super will power!

If it was me I'd take photos or videos of each part of the opening process play it then re assemble it back into the box as if it had never been open, nobody will know.
