i have been given this information my son game was temporary banned for avatar the notice states that once it was removed the will take banned off in 24-48 hours that never happen

Xbox Live Enforcement, you can find information on their website. The ban will expire 24 hours after being implemented. Additionally, the email that is associated with the Xbox Live account should have received a message from the Enforcement team with further
information.

My son also got suspended for 24 hours and has no idea what he did wrong. Am I to understand that the communications ban is based on someone "reporting" him? He only does party chats with his friends so does that mean one of his friends reported him?

"Suspension length can vary based on the severity of the situation. 1st time bans are typically 24 hours, but they can be longer. If you've gottan a suspension, you would need to go to http://enforcement.xbox.com for information on how long it is."

My sons was also suspended today. I tried to submit a case review but got an Oops something went wrong message. Now need to wait another 24 hours before I can try again. He helped a boy in a game only to be constantly spawn trapped by the same person. Who
then reported my son when he asked him to stop it. The boy in turn reported my son for asking him to leave him alone. He is devastated now as he doesn't know why he has been banned when he was not in the wrong ( he has autism and follows rules to the letter
so he doesn't understand why he has been punished for it)
