My son got suspended. The note doesn't say for how long.

My son's account has been suspended. The note doesn't say for how long, just "suspended until .." Looks like a date is missing. How do we get the suspension lifted?

Also, how can I find the video he uploaded so I can see and hear it for myself. My son says he can't understand what's offensive about it (of course).

My other account (ReVo fear) has been suspended and it doesn't say how long the suspension lasts. How long have I been suspended for? Thank you

I'll say it again,the enforcement team do not read theses forums.

You do not get suspended for no reason.Doesn't matter how long you've been an xbox live member,it doesn't make you exempt from the rules.

An email will have been sent to the address linked to your account telling you why you were suspended.

 

You can log on to the enforcement site to find out about the suspension & file for a case review if eligible

If he was suspended for a video then the video would of been removed so there would be no way of seeing it.

 

Thanks for Your reply, Daft Badger. I can't see a link or button indicating anything about case review on that page. I assume that means the case is not eligible. How about the fact that no until-date was given? Is this normal? Basically, the account is
suspended, we don't really know why, we don't know for how long, and there is no customer support which can help us with this issue.

It would have to be an adult who files for the review & you can't file for one if the suspension is a 24 hour one.

It should say how long the suspension is for in the email sent to the address linked to the suspended account.

 

Thanks for following up, Daft Badger. There's no link or info on case review on the site you linked. However, my son says his account works fine, so I'll just leave it.

 

Sounds like it was a 24 hour suspension then.

They are usually for something communication related,possibly voice chat or a message he sent.

 

The suspension is still active, according to the Enforcement and Activity page. However, the account Works as normal. I have no idea what's going on, but as long as it Works, I'll just leave it as is.
