My son can't access Fortnite. I have amended settings so he should be able to!

Just sign in here: https://account.xbox.com/Settings using your account and click your son's gamertag/profile. You can also use the Xbox Family settings app as previously suggested.

Thank you - I think we are making progress. When he logs onto Fortnite now, it says : 'Multiplayer is restricted with others in Fortnite. Ask now?' He sends message but I haven't received anything. Where does the request go and how can I allow him automatic access so that the request isn't required?

Sorry to hear about that, however, to be able to configure your son's privacy settings. You need to log in using your account by signing in here: https://account.xbox.com/Settings or if you're on console, you have to switch it to your profile. With this, you need to create an Xbox profile, just log in to your account at xbox.com/profile.

Just to make it simple, you need to configure your son's privacy settings using your account.

Additionally, I wouldn't recommend you let your son use your profile to ensure his safety within the community and so you can adjust his settings in your own likings.

Thank you for your response. I am brand new to this so apologies if these questions are obvious. I have just gone to the first link and created a gamertag for myself and logged in. Where do I go from here to amend my son's settings? I can't see that we are linked. We are linked on the Family safety page and I have changed limits there to 'any age' to no avail.
