    There are a few things that could be causing the issue with your son not being able to play NBA 2K23's MyCareer mode. Here are some potential solutions to try:

    Make sure that both you and your son are connected to the internet and that your network connection is stable.

    Check to see if there are any updates available for NBA 2K23 or your Xbox One console. If there are updates available, make sure to install them.

    Make sure that your son's Xbox One console is set as your home Xbox. To do this, go to the "My account" page in the Xbox One settings and select "Set this as my home Xbox." This will allow your son to access your Xbox Live Gold membership and any games or content that you have purchased.

    Try resetting the Xbox One console by holding down the power button for 10 seconds until the console turns off, then unplugging the power cord and waiting a few minutes before plugging it back in and turning the console on again.

    Having issue getting my sons profile permission to play online. His profile is set to teen, allowed to play online multiplayer but when he tries to play online Minecraft Xbox One Edition he gets an Xbox notification saying he cannot due to his settings.

    NBA 2K20 - RESTRICTED ACCESS TO MYPLAYER

    I agree with this, NBA 2K20 is rated PEGI 3 and yet my 11 year old son cannot create an account for it because his xbox account isn't eligible for linking. Presumably this is due to his age because mine will link. He really wanted this game for Christmas
    but now is saying he'll hardly play it if he can't access the career mode.

    Oh, and my son was playing Mordor. It is the home console, my game. Now he cannot play. He was playing and it disconnected him and he cannot play know. Which is odd as I was thinking you could use games on the home console in those situations. Gets
    the message "For this game, you need to be online." I get that message as well for some reason.
