My son can cheat the time limits on xbox

I have a 8 year old son only. I setted on his account a total time limit and an hours period, like: he can play from 8:00 am to 11:30 am. Sometimes I block the use, like when he hasn't done the homework. Althought his logon should be blocked, he can still
turn Xbox on and play! How can I settle Xbox in order that it works only with previous aproved accounts and with the settle limits?

Changing adult to child

My son started playing on the xbox before I could figure out everything.

Now, I need to limit play time, but it seems I can only do this if it's a child account. If I change everything over, will he lose his progress in his games and will he keep the same username?

Or, can you put a time limit on the adult account?

Is there anyway to limit playing time when child is playing using my account

My son plays Xbox One using my MS account. Apparently it is not possible to move him to a child account, because he is on Xbox One.

Can I limit his playing time in any way?

i have the circle app and it will not stop my son from playing a game on the XBOX. all the ISP apps and routers do it stop my son from accessing the internet and or filter the internet. WIth Microsoft Family time limits, Microsoft will stop my son
from being able to play a Xbox Game at a certain time and or request more game time. I do not think the ISP apps or router can do that. If they can please let me know which one.

The best solution would be to use the xbox gaming time as reward after your son has completed his daily chores and homework. You can do that easily by setting up screen time limits for your son, because believe me you can't keep a child away from the console.

Ok. Thanks for the response! So, can I limit my own time then in any way? Or, can I copy all skins, vbucks and game tag to my sons fortnite?

Can someone confirm my understanding? If my son has a Xbox One, and is playing using my account, there is

1. no way to move his gamer tag to his own account

2. no way to limit his playing hours/time.
