    my skyrim game has stopped saving my progress.


    I'm playing Skyrim on Xbox 1. When I start play, I find that my progress has not saved from last time. The game permits me to save during play and at the end of the session, but when I start a new session, it dumps me back. I've lost levels and everything! Can anyone help? VMR

    do you have a great many safe Files? You may have run out of storage room in the cloud so it's not making new save games

    I understand that, I’m not trying to recover progress. I’m trying to stop this from continuously happening as it has been. I can’t play campaign mode games because it doesn’t save any of my games at all. What can I do to remedy my console not saving?

    The update corrupted my gamer profile. I deleted the profile and re-downloaded it from live - now none of my save games are accessible. It says they are from an unknown profile. There goes my Skyrim, Battlefield, and Arkham City progress.

    Everything was fine until the update :(

    Fallout (and Skyrim) saves get very big after a while and so, as you progress through the game, it takes longer for the save data to be sync'd with the cloud
