My shortcut's icons are to small, any idea why ? (XBOX GAMEPASS PC)

I'm not really sure why they are showing these very small icons surrounded by a black background. But you can change the icon from an app shortcut by:

Right click the shortcut > Properties > On the shortcut tab, click on "Change icon". It will give you all the choices available to be shown as the shortcut icon.

See if this helps and please let me know.

here is a temp fix for you

Right click the desktop, go to View > Small icons. Then right click again, go to View > Medium icons (or whatever size you used to use).

I also tried this and couldn't get the game to show in Chinese.

I'm using Xbox PC Gamepass. Any ideas?

I have gamepass installed on my PC, but when i try to play it using cloud gaming on the same PC my save is not there, both appear to be running version 1.5.. any ideas?

I had shortcuts on my desktop for the games and for whatever reason yesterday they all lost their original icon and now look like a piece of paper as the icon (like if you were to put a shortcut for a document file or something) - I tried accessing the
folder where the games were at to see if it was a permissions problem and good lord that's another nightmare all in its own if you have two hard drives hooked up to the same computer, I guess its some wonky **** digital rights management Microsoft dreamed
up to make it hard on us, I don't know WHY though, because it JUST WORKED like 2 days ago. New Windows update and half the games on xbox for pc beta don't work. GG Microsoft
