My Series X Disc Drive Isn't Working? HELP

Hello! My Xbox is only 1 year old and Christmas day I tired to load a brand new Tony Hawk which didn't work. I got a new one and that didn't work either! I tried black ops and a few other games that work but some games of mine won't load or show on screen. I'm a adult with no kids so I take care of my xbox, please help cause this happened to my Xbox one and my 360 had red rings of death so I'm really annoyed.

Remove the disc from the console, Turn off your console, disconnect your external hard drive and turn the console back on with the external drive still disconnected. Once the it has fully booted to the Home screen, you can connect your external drive again and then try running the disc

Neither of those methods worked. This disc works fine on my One X and it isn't scratched, so I think it's a problem with the Series X.

It actually does. I got the Series X this holiday at $349, and the same disc is working perfectly. I have determined that the Xbox One X disc drive is trying to read Cross Gen discs differently than Xbox One discs. The disc drive on the Series X doesn’t have this issue. You might need a new disc or you might need to send your Series X for maintenance.

The Series S doesn't have a disc drive. If you've tried using an external drive, it won't work. You would need the Series X In order for it to work.

Yes it will as long as you mean a Series X, not a Series S. The Series S doesn't have a disc drive so it won't work there.
