My series s won't download updates on my WiFi but will with my hotspot and neither reseting...

Please, try clearing your MAC address.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system, then Settings.

In the General tab, select Network settings > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address > Clear.

Restart your console. Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your controller to open the Power Center.

Select Restart console and then select Restart.

(If the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the Xbox button on the console for 10 seconds, until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch the Xbox button on the console again to restart.)

Sign in to your console.

Won't download or run unless I boost my wifi through my phone using Hotspot. Wit the same wifi?

Hi, my Xbox Series S is connected to WiFi but I will try directly connecting it to my router. My games were installed directly to the Xbox Series S but I just bought a external SSD drive 5 minutes ago to move everything so I can have more room and incase i needed to reset my Xbox. Let's see if those changes will help. Otherwise I have nothing else connected to my Xbox Series S. I have no mobile hotspot currently.

Neither the reset of my router nor using a hotspot helped.

Two of my friends are currently downloading the update. I tried uninstalling my game to see if that would help but now I can't even install destiny itself. Hard restart doesn't help neither does wifi reset.
