    My Series S keeps turning off/won’t turn on


    As the title says my Series S either won’t turn on or is turning off repeatedly I’m not sure which. Every time I hit the power button it “turns on” but no controller connects and it doesn’t connect to the tv. After about 1-2 minutes it’s turns itself off. Idk how to fix it or what to do. I’ve unplugged it and plugged it back in and I’ve moved the console. It worked fine earlier, I started a game update, turned the game off and it’s been like this since then. Please let me know something if you can help

    I just recieved my new series x and it will not turn off my TV. I have followed procedures to have it set up, it worked with my one s just fine.

    Yes I did why would my one s work and the series x not work??? Why did it turn it off once and not again? Turns it on just fine!

    I understand you need help with your Xbox problem.

    It is possible that the Xbox is trying to recover some power after cutting off during the power surge. Although, the console has it's own protection from power surges so it is not that major as long as the console still turns on.
