My Seagate 5tb expansion desktop will not stay connected to my Xbox one

I have a Seagate 5tb expansion desktop HDD. I formatted it to my Xbox one as a media device so I could save and play my games on it. I had a connectivity issue so I bought a new usb 3.0 cable and am still having connectivity issues. It will connect for a
brief time then just disconnects. Is there any driver updates or anything I can do to resolve this issue? I have had the same issue on two different Xbox one consoles and I know it is not my cord because I replaced the old with a brand new cable.

Xbox One S data transfer

I just upgraded to the Xbox one S and i moved all the data to my Seagate Expansion (5tb) and i hooked up everything and it says the space is occupied but i have not games on my xbox one S

If the issue is happening across multiple Xbox One consoles, I would check with Seagate to see if there's any driver updates available for your external HDD. Also be sure you've tried different USB ports on your console. If none of that works, the next step
is going to be reformatting your external HDD to see if that resolves the issue.
