    My Sea of Thieves Now belongs to game pass


    I bought Sea of Thieves with my own money and now when I attempt to start it, it says that I need game pass. I tried to resolve this by trying to uninstall it and then reinstall it but that ended up in me not owning the game and its not even in my ready
    to install. Keep in mind this is not the aniversary edition of the game. I would really like to get my game back please help.

    You most likely want to call Xbox support. (call Microsoft support and request a call back.)

    I would suggest first to check your order history at account.microsoft.com and make sure that the order for the game is still showing as completed and not refunded for some reason.

    I hate to hear that you are having an issue with Sea of Thieves. I know it can be frustrating not being able to find a game you purchased. I'm not sure if you have been there or not, but please make sure you go to https://support.xbox.com/en-US/games/game-setup/view-downloadable-content and
    follow the steps set out there to find your purchased game. If you still cannot find the game listed, follow the steps at the bottom of that post to contact Microsoft Support.

    I would give support a ring my friend! Seems like it may be an issue on their end with that whole Anniversary edition that's really the same as the normal edition.

    Sea of thieves requires gold and game pass, unless you purchase sea of thieves, then you only need gold.
