My screen went blue and fuzzy i think the hdmi port is bad but am not sure her is a photo...

However, please try powercycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds till it shuts down. Unplug all cables from it and let it sit for 5 minutes. Then try connecting it again making sure that all connections are firm.

If possible you can even try a different HDMI cable or port on the TV to see if that changes it

If the Xbox is working with the same HDMI cable on a different TV, then that would lead me to believe the HDMI port on the TV in question is bad. I had a bad HDMI port on my TV as well that just went out one day. If it works on another TV with the same
HDMI cable then I would say the Port on the TV has quit working.

My tv just says no signal when the xbox is turned on and connected to it. It is not really a black screen I am getting, because it shows the HDMI port number and the words no signal. I have switched HDMI cords and I have even switched tv's to see if that was the issue. It was working fine when I went to bed, and then hasn't worked since I tried using it the next day is the odd thing. My thinking is that wouldn't be an HDMI port issue because of this. It is the xbox one s gears of war special edition console.

I tried the soft factory reset. When it restarted the problem was again there. It was quite a challenge to answer all the questions and connect to the microsoft account with such a fuzzy screen.

Before the factory reset I had selected HDMI (or DVI) instead of automatical recognition with a resolution of 640*480. Once again at this resolution it was working, but it is not the kind of resolution one would expect from a XBOX one.

Keeping selected HDMI (or DVI) I tried to increase the resolution. At 720 p the screen was a bit fuzzy. At 1080p the screen was fuzzy and green as usual. At 1440p it turned black (but this is probably because the TV does not support 1440p). I have checked
the specs of the TV. It supports
Full HD (1920 x 1080 Pixel), thus 1080p.

When it started after pressing the factory reset button in the menu I could see the resolution being set automatically at 1080p, whereas the image was again fuzzy and green. As soon as I got access to the settings I went back to DVI (or HDMI) and I have
set 640*480.



After the factory reset I started fortnite to check, whether it was working. During the starting I got the error 0*800C0005. I was wondering what does it mean. Hopefully nothing too bad.
