    my router keeps disconnecting while I am streaming movies/tv shows on my xbox


    When streaming video to my xbox one my router keeps disconnecting. I am using the apps for Netflix, Hulu, and HBO. It only happens when i am watching videos and it never happens when I am playing games. It doesn't happen every time either i can go 6+
    hours of video and its fine but it can also happen 4 time in a 40 minuet show. I have even bought a different router.

    The router that I am using is a belkin n600 dual band N+ router. I am connected to the 2.4GHz but it also happens on the 5.0 GHz connection.

    I think is might be something like the router is getting overloaded by the streaming but I dont know how to check that if it is posable.

    Still Not Able to Connect to Live. Anyone Else?

    My Xbox live keeps on telling me that all services are unavailable and then disconnecting me from Xbox live but it shows in the network screen that it is picking up my router signal.

    Netflix raises DVD & streaming plan price by 60%

    What a complete and utter rip off. The selection of their streaming is pretty poor movie wise, and the TV shows, while offering a good variety still do not have a lot of popular ones on there. In order to justify this price hike they better be purchasing
    the rights to more channels/movies, otherwise I will be cancelling both my dvd by mail subscription and streaming subscription and just use redbox and watch TV shows online.

    When i talked to support last night they had me disconnect my account and restart my xbox. Then reactivate the account on the xbox.

    I dont know what UPnP is so i am not sure if i have it enabled

    I do not believe that I have any NAT errors and the only error that pops up on the xbox is 0x87dd001a

    I have Time Warner Cable for my ISP

    If you would enjoy it if we could play our PC games on my Xbox One without modding!!!

    Totally agree the stream to your pc is completely useless for me. I had maybe hoped I could play a xbox game on my pc while my xbox runs the tv on the actual tv screen. The only way this streaming feature would work for me is to stream games/movies from

    I am also having the same issues. My xbox is connect via Ethernet and laptop wireless and when I play BF4 or Titanfall it just disconnects from the stream and then when I go to stream again its disconnect from ea too. I have a netgear nighthawk router which
    runs perfectly fine for the other xbox which runs through the tv but the one I stream with is having these issues. :(
