My right joystick scrolls up by itself

I think my right joystick is broken anybody know what i can do to reset it to normal

Xbox controller keeps scrolling right by it self

My xbox one elite controller has been scrolling right by itself and i have no idea why first my interent wouldnt conect then when i go to sign in it would spam A and Y by itself and now this is happening i dont know why ive tried restarting my xbox taking
the batteries out. There are also no buttons stuck . Also if i press Lb it would immediatley go back to the right and my joysticks dont do anything when this glitch is happening please help me

 

Controller Stuck Looking Up

Hello and thanks to all who try to help. I am having an issue with the white Xbox One controller. The right joystick module broke from the gray part that connects inside the thumbstick. It still worked but the joystick was now loose and rotated 360 degrees.
I decided to replace the module with a brand new one by de-soldering and soldering on the new one. I am absolutely positive that I soldered it on the right way. As soon as I turned the controller on, the player points straight up (Black Ops). You can do everything
but pointing up, so shooting, knifing, etc. . . I connected the controller to my laptop and ran the "joy.cpl" to do some testing/calibration. Something is definitely wrong with the right joystick because the "Y Rotation" is not functioning at all in the test
or the calibration. Its just moving a little by itself. Thanks.

We have a few recommend troubleshooting steps for you to try:

•Make sure that your controller has fresh batteries and that your controller is updated,

•Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.

•Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.

•Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console.

•Power on your console and check to see if the issue is continuing.

I'm having the same issue with my controller

 

You would need to replace the control or have it repaired/replaced by microsoft.

Either your control has stick drift/ghosting where it moves completely by itself or you have damaged the thumbstick sensor, Either way theres no way to reset this, the thumbstick sensor either needs replacing if your control has no warranty or you need to
replace the controller.

Maybe it is problem by using, it can be damaged. Try to clean it, do stepts as other recommended. If nothing helps, try to connect it to different Xbox. If you still have problems, buy new controller (unfortunately). Or claim it to your seller if there
is warranty.
