    My right joystick doesn’t respond when i pull down why is that?


    recently i have been dealing with stick drift on my right stick and now i can’t play because my stick is forced up but the actual stick itself is perfectly in place and when i try to move my stick down it doesn't do anything so i’m my fps games i’m stick looking at the sky does anyone know what the problem is?

    i have done the testing and every button works perfectly fine even my right stick itself it just for some reason is stuck up like it can go left and right but not down and it stays up ; it drifted up before but i was able to stabilize it atleast but now it’s as the up drift over powers my pull down causing it to not work at all

    I'm sorry to hear that didn't work.

    Have you verified that your controller is not registering input from other buttons such as its triggers? that could be why it's scrolling down. You can do this by entering the controller's test mode at Settings > Devices & connections > Accessories > then click on the lab icon that's right next to the [...] button.

    This should let you know if your controller is registering input from one of its buttons due to a hardware malfunction.

    -yes i have updated my controller and looked for software updates on it and it still has the same issue
