    Its a solid game and since there is not a lot of games for XB1 it will do good. Taking single player out might be a mistake it will still do ok. This will be a game for the hardcore gamer looking for the next FPS. I don't think many will come back to play
    after the next big hit comes out. Perfect timing though cause the big hits are not coming out till the end of the year or next year. Captive audience. Nothing else to play.

    I downloaded and got one game in before I had to go to work and I have to admit, I wish I could have played it longer before I needed to go and now I'm looking forward to being able to jump back on my xbox one to play it some more. I gave up on COD and moved
    to BF which turned into a huge disappointment IMO so I'm thinking this game will be my main replacement for those games. It's something new, it's not too realistic, it's fun to be able to jump practically anywhere you want that adds a whole new dynamic to
    the game. I'm loving this game.

  5. Okay, so I said I'd let you guys know what I thought of the Titanfall Beta and to be honest, I'm not sure I like it. It feels sloppy to me. Although the wall-running is really cool, there's no real sense of impact or oomph when you hit the walls. Heck, there's
    barely even a sound from what I can hear. This makes me feel like I'm not actually touching the walls and breaks that sense of awesome and immersion for me. As for the Titans themselves, I feel like you should be able to do more...

    Now, I realize that this is a Beta and there's going to be better graphics and more things in the final build (more Titans, weapons, maps, gametypes, unlocks, etc.), but for my initial impression as is, I'm actually kind of disappointed so far.

    @galacticgeek it is unfortunate that u do not like the game. I on the other hand am amazed with it and I am tough to impress

    I decided to wait a bit before hitting this thread but I love it. This is my first MP type game I actually wanted to play and it was AWESOME! Especially once I started to get the hang of everything (burn cards, wall jumping, titans, etc) it's really fun.
    The bots on the field are so dumb tho, I think maybe a slight tiny tweak is in order for release but they did make me feel kind of good when I first started (which is pretty much why they are there). Other than that I have no complaints and can't wait for
    March 11th. Just curious how the MP/Campaign will play out.

    Oh! And I hate Smart Pistols lol. They are awesome but I suck with them.

    Apparently you will be placed into matches that follow the campaign until you finish it. Once you have done that you are free to jump into matches and game modes as you please.

  9. It's hard to put it down, even after almost 12 hours of playing today. Again, on just two maps. lol We had one match where not a single teammate died - "0" all the way down. Pretty crazy.

  10. A neoGAF user has reportedly used a hex editor on one of the Titanfall beta's data files and discovered a total of 15 map names, alongside more Pilot and Titan perks and ordinances, weapon class names, and game modes.

    Among the beta's Angel City and Fracture maps - which many of us are now very familiar with - user RazorUK uncovered Colony, Relic, Airbase, Boneyard, Corporate, Outpost, Lagoon, Rise, Smugglers Cove, Training Ground (most likely a tutorial map) Overlook,
    Nexus, and O2. To add authenticity to the findings, he (or she) posted splash images for each map, which you can check out in the GAF thread.

    Other revelations of note are the handful of game modes listed in addition to the beta's Attrition, Hardpoint and Last Titan Standing. Please note that the below includes speculative names from the neoGAF community.

    AT – Attrition?

    TDM – Team Deathmatch?

    CTF – Capture the Flag?

    LTS – Last Titan Standing?

    HP- Hardpoint?

    VM – Variety Mode (a mix of all the other modes listed)

    While these maps may indeed exist, or have existed at one point during developmen

  11. Attrition is Team Deathmatch. Capture the Flag would likely be called something else if it was an included game mode.

    attrition is not team death match - its a war of attrition! Its very similar to TDM but its not all out TDM.

    Interesting to read what GG said about the oomph and sound. The game definately does not have the immersion factor that I hoped for, all said I'm buying it and will enjoy it. I think the sound is missing something, the thumps and oomphs, also would have
    liked a little more destruction in the environment to add to that immersion. IMO the game would have darn near perfect had they chosen to use a more advanced engine. I would love to try a game like this with an oculus rift set though.

  15. Attirtion is basically Titanfall's version of Team Deathmatch. The only real difference is in the way the gametype is scored and the inclusion of bots likely have a large part to do with that. Same as Hardpoint is Titanfall's version of Domination. Titanfall's
    other game modes will very unlikely have traditional naming.

    I think the same thing. I think both are one and the same overall.
