my reputation is in needs work status because of false cheating allegations

hello, my reputation is in needs work status because of reports that i have 3 reports of unsporting behavior and 34 reports of cheating. The only game I played on xboxlive right now is call of duty black ops 3. i am ranked 5k in hctdm and considered an
upper upper tiered player. For being too good i guess, i have been reported for cheating. i have never been banned from playing call of duty ever. If i was indeed cheating, i assume activision would have banned me for cheating by now. i assume the amount
of times i have been reported for cheating in the game itself would be exponentially more than the 34 times i have been reported on xbox live. I do not want my account to be put in avoid me status because microsoft failed to check up on reports and just follow
through with false reports and mislabeling me. I would please ask you to ask the developers themselves if they ever check on me cheating and found anything? I have never cheated, and it would be rather upsetting to find that my account would be put into
avoid me status and have trouble finding matches for a game i enjoy just because of lower skill leveled players falsely accusing me of cheating because I owned them. Please take a look into my reputation and change help me not be put into avoid me status
because of false accusations. Thank You.

    :)

    Unwarranted "Avoid Me" Reputation

I understand how and why the rep system functions. A working guide on understanding it is NOT in any way a "correct answer" to the issue that I'm bringing to the forefront. Nobody is ignoring the advice you're giving; rather, you're completely missing the
point: there are instances where the rep system is doing nothing but punishing players who do too well in a game.

I do well in Battleborn and receive reports of CHEATING (again, you are completely ignoring this part, but I'll mention it as many times as it takes for you to understand that). None of these reports have any grain of truth, but because there is no case-by-case
investigation, one's reputation still goes down. Not because of poor sportsmanship (unless you consider performing too well as unsportsmanlike), but because people really must believe I am cheating when there's no proof of this.

Because several members of the community see me as a cheater, that must mean that I cheat? That's the most ridiculous argument you've brought up yet. I don't care whether my opinion of myself influences my reputation, but what I do care about is that these
FALSE reports of cheating have impacted my reputation. This is an unacceptable state of things because I don't cheat, but because people say I do, I can't play much anymore.

You can't tell me to be a better sport because sportsmanship isn't why I've been tanked into "Avoid Me." It's the reports of CHEATING that have done it, and because of these FALSE reports ot CHEATING. Tell me how that's my fault?

It's becoming painfully clear that you aren't understanding that this issue isn't an isolated event, or .01% of the community even. It's a real issue that needs to be addressed. People are being falsely accused of cheating or unsportsmanlike behavior and
because nobody is investigating, people are left to suffer unwarranted matchmaking bans.

Again, I'll reiterate so you understand what's happening here: my reputation has gone down because of false reports of cheating - because the reports are in response to my performing well (not unsportsmanlike behavior; I don't chat to those I beat), I see
no reason that the reports should go uninvestigated and left to tank my reputation.

Again, I understand how rep works and why it is in place, but I don't understand how nobody is investigating these reports and determining that the reputation downgrading is unwarranted. You are missing 90% of the points I'm making.

  3. Keep getting flasely reported for cheating

I keep on getting these random false reports on my account for cheating even tho I’m not cheating in anyway at all, I’m guessing I’m getting these false reports because I’m over a level 1900 on Grand Theft Auto V Online, even tho it’s legit and I haven’t
cheated to reach that level. I noticed these reports pop up the other day on my reputation page. Does anyone know if anything will even happen if I keep getting these false reports even tho I’m not cheating? I will include a screenshot of the reputation page.

    Hey there,

Unfortunately this is a huge problem right now for competitive players in games such as Call of Duty, Overwatch, etc. You can literally check the top 1000 leaderboard and almost every other player has some type of reputation issue. I'm in the same boat
as you and believe me I've looked far and wide for a solution and there doesn't appear to be any at this time. I've had this account for over 13 years with no reputation issues until last month.

I don't think Microsoft will take action on this until more people speak up on the issue; however seeing as we are in the minority I wouldn't expect anything to happen anytime soon. I would suggest playing other games in the mean-time or creating another
account to play your game with until your reputation goes back up.

Thank you but it appears the unverified feedback has impacted my reputation. You say it’s doesn’t matter but if my reputation falls enough you will penalize me.

Which is it, does the feedback matter or not.

    Reputation and cheating allegations

That's just feedback people have sent in about you, not something that's been verified. If the enforcement team found evidence of cheating, you would get a suspension. Unfortunately people send negative reports for no reason. I have 1 unsporting and 2 cheater ones for the past 6 months, and I don't play online. They'll drop off after some time. If you play online, play fair, are not toxic, etc., then it's ultimately nothing to worry about.

And I have been looking nore into this rep thing and it says you guys have made reassures that prevent false reports, the reason my rep had fallen was because of false cheating reports. I can absolutely not stand cheaters and hackers, as well as I have
never cheated in a game and I would like to know why my I got my reputation down from the false reports.
