    Xbox One S and Official Stereo Headset Adapter not recognized

    After a tech support chat session with Microsoft I returned the device and requested a replacement. The replacement is now working fine. It appears that my first device was dead on arrival. That is disappointing for a brand new device that arrived in sealed
    box. So bottom line, if yours isn't working, try another controller, and if that doesn't fix the issue request a replacement.

    EDIT: The replacement page said "Your DEVICE is not eligible for replacement."

    Thank you for posting, if a replacement device is expected information on the device order will always be available at

    Microsoft Device Support
    . By signing into the account the order was created for, all information about the device including tracking will be viewable there.

    Don't forget that sometimes the tracking number and link is sent via email as well.

    contact official support by chat or phone.

    They should be able to handover the trackingnumber.
