My remote play on my iPhone works on my wi fi an doesn’t on 5G

I just recently haven’t been able to log on to my remote play Xbox app on 5G (with speeds 500-600 mbs) my wi fi works at my house …but I’ve never had a problem in the past with even low speeds on 5G … my nat is open… looking for any suggestions that I might be missing thanks

Hello again, your modem router depending on the type of carrier they may have different settings.

Thank you ! Now I can’t get my controller to sync after holding the power button for 10 sec. Hard resetting my Xbox lol my god

Hello Matt, the basic difference between the frequency from 2.4Ghz to 5.0hz is that the 2.4 has a wider range and can cross some walls and obstacles, while the 5 was made for the devices that connect and are in the same room as your modem/router.

Ideally, you can have both active frequencies on your device, usually they come with channels in automatic but if you have access to the settings you can change them to manual and check which one is best on your network.
