My refund got declined even that I played less than 2h

I bought Sifu today and played 1h 47min, but my refund still got declined. Checking the support page it is not clear how long can you play and still be eligible for a refund. Can anyone clarify that?

I have 3 refunds: november of 2021 (approved), december of 2022 (declined) and the last one was made yesterday. The problem is that the refund policy is not clear. You are the telling me that I can't get a refund If I play a game for a couple of hours and don't like it. That's exactly what I did in 2021! The refund form even had an option for that, something like "I don't want this game anymore" (I don't remember the exact text). The option doesn't exist now. But the support page makes you believe that the refund is possible. Xbox should do like Playstation store and put in the refund policy that you can just get a refund If the content is broken.

Hi Georges,

Thank you for the quick reply. What about my question? Xbox support page is not clear about how long you can play a game and still got a refund, it just says "a significant amount of play time". How long is that?? It used to be 2h, but It seems they changed that rule. It is quite frustrating not knowing the proper rules for a refund. Other stores are much more clear about their rules.

Hello Leonardo, If you filled out the refund request form and your request was not approved, unfortunately we here in the community are unable to help you with these issues.

The refund department is a separate offline department, which can only be contacted via the email sent to you in response.

Unfortunately not even Xbox support can help you in this case

Tell that to the ps players who couldn't get a refund for the Legend of dragoon being unplayable entering.combat or.using magic crashed the ps5

The.last of us 2 is still.broken and unplayable after halfway point (not a bug it's a feature)

Legend of dragoon was fixed for memory leak after 4days

Or the grand turismo online issues (keep in mind the last one is online only gameplay)

Or the Diablo 2 resurrected server crashes (online only again with pc players being prioritized over console

I can just guess, but could it be that you had to many refunds ?

The offer to get a refund is not for trying games and give them back if you don't like them !

Could it be that you missunderstood that ?
