To effectively clarify this issue, it is necessary that you contact Microsoft support directly via chat, because only they can explain what happened to the product you purchased.

I'm able to access my 10-song credits via my WP8 phone through the Store and purchase songs that way. If you have your desktop Xbox Music set up to download items purchased on other devices, the songs will show up there as well.

Leedo, sorry to hear you had such a rough time. I had a similar situation recently where I purchased an item from the marketplace and the next day it was on sale.

I called up phone support (better to do that than use chat for this situation) and explained the situation to them. The also informed me that they cannot do a partial credit on an item. It cannot be done.

What they did do though was credit me the full amount for the purchased item at which time I went back to the marketplace and purchased it again at the discounted rate.

Maybe give that option a try and see if they'll work with you on it.

For help with the Rewards program it's best to post in the Xbox Rewards Questions support forum. If you're looking for VIP rebates, rebates are calculated after the end of the month and given by the 15th of the next month so it is too early to see credits
pending for January purchases.
