hello , i had an account with xbox gamepass subscription and now that subscription has been over and i dont want to continue that . But i want to purchase minecraft again and want the same nick and everything but the account was australian region which was set by me in mistake and i want to aussure my money btw now i live in indian region, can anyone tell me if i buy minecraft in indian region will i get any error or not

If there are no subscription active on your account, and you’re living in India now, I can suggest you to check and change the following information:

1. Make sure your account region is set to India:

https://account.microsoft.com/profile

2. Make sure your PC region is set to India as well.

3. In order to make purchases in the Xbox marketplace (any country), it is required to add a payment method billed in that country.
If you have a card issued in India, please add it here:

https://account.microsoft.com/billing/payments

Doing this, shouldn’t give you a problem when you want to purchase Minecraft in the Indian Microsoft Store.

Game disks are not coded for regions for the Xbox One and the language should be based on the language that your Xbox One console is set to under Settings > System > Language and Location.

1. You are allowed to purchase content from a different country. But you'll also have to purchase a different Xbox since there are so many games that are region locked. Let's use Japan as an example. If you're console can only play NTSC, it will not
play NTSC-J. Unless the games are Region-Free. (PAL, NTSC, NTSC-J)

2. Migrating your account is only optional. If you move from country A to B and want all content from B to be added to your main XBL account, then you can migrate your account. If not, you can simply create a new account.

3. From my understanding of things, VPN services are not allowed. You can keep your previous console, have all of that content from A on that console. And from B, you can have the content on there.

The games that are free in those countries are free because of differences between the Xbox LIVE service.

If a game is free in a other country it could be for promotion or anything else.

If you start to download them and change your region, you get in trouble.

I don´t know why you are asking this.

VPN is also a two sided blade.

Just because people do it and get away with it does not mean they won´t get in trouble one day.

If you want a honest answer on all your questions, do not do what you asked.

Of course it´s different if you pay for the games.
