My Profile won't download

I have tried numerous times to download my profile to my xbox with no avail. Any idea on how to get it. I had some downloading updates and now xbox will not load my profile automatically. I can see it is still on the xbox but can't seem to get it to connect
to it.

What happens when you try to connect to it? Are there any error messages, and if so would you provide the full context including error code?

What is the exact error message or error code that you get whenever you download your profile ?

You can use this guide to test the connection.

(Xbox 360)

Go to Settings , and then select System.

Select Network Settings.

Select Test Xbox LIVE Connection.

when i try to download my profile, it stalls at my game info and then says xbox live profiles can't be downloaded. When i go to my storage it says my profile is corrupt, so i tried to delete just the profile but it came back saying this process couldnt be
completed. Then i tried to delete the profile and items and that option worked, but it still won't let me download my profile. each time i try to download it, it either stalls at my game info, or won't even start to download.

Hi,

Password too long perhaps or has special characters (such as %&#)?

I seem to remember that the 360 has big problems with passwords longer than 10 or 11 characters. Suggest you change it to one of around 8 characters, a combination of letters and numbers with capitals and lower case and try again.

Password is only 8 characters with none of them being special, and ive changed it several times. Everything was working fine a couple weeks ago and out of the blue all my 360 stuff stopped working

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

According to Xbox support:

"This might mean a license is not available for this content, or there's a problem with the system cache."

To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.
