My profile personal information isn't showing up to others

When I change my motto, name, location, or bio; I can see the changes I've made while logged in on my own account, but no one else can. I have three different accounts and any changes I make to the personal information only shows up to me and nobody else.
I've asked friends if there's anything there and they say no, just the "United States" region that appears if there's no motto. This started happening maybe a few weeks ago. I switched to a different console kinda recently, but this problem didn't happen immediately
after so I'm not sure it's the consoles fault. I have no idea.

I've also updated/changed my personal info, then went on my other account to see if it showed and it hadn't.

I've deleted my profile and re downloaded it already and that didn't fix it either.

It's not a big issue but it's weird and I wanna fix it.

To offer additional information - my card is showing up under Payment Options in Payment & Billing, so I know that isn't an issue.

 

BC list not showing

So my system isn't showing any of the arcade titles I have bought in the past, except for feeding frenzy, bejeweled and pinball fx. Hexic HD and a few others aren't showing up. Could be I haven't used my old 360 profile in a while, though did sign in on
my x1 under the profile in order to get these games I got off the arcade before. Even a search for Hexic HD turned up no way to download. Any suggestions? I've waited 2 days for the list to update again and no such luck.

On your dashboard please go to the far right tab for Settings

Select Privacy

Change settings

Customize

"Profile Sharing (select to everyone if it is not already set, it might be a case of it being set to blocked)" but if it isn't select everyone or friends only.

If this doesn't solve it message back and I will think of some other things

Once that has set Save and Exit and it will sign you back in

I forgot to mention that my profile sharings been set to Everyone for years, so that's not the problem

 

So I am sure you have checked? It seems that there is a few things set on lockdown, such as fame history achievements, I searched you up and it doesn't allow fame history to be shown. Unless you have double checked than just knowing it has been set for years.
I too have had mine set for years and yet sometimes see it changes to friends only, but if that was the case your friends should be able to see it. At any point has your account been associated with a family pack membership/plan. And additionally have you
checked xbox one settings? I am not sure if you have one but its worth a try to eliminate all possibilities

Ser if there is any settings in there limiting profile visibility, or for that matter anything you would like to turn off that could conflict

Yeah I just checked all three of my accounts on my xbox and profile sharing is set to Everyone for all of them and always have been. This didn't used to happen until a few weeks ago

 

Quite strange indeed.

I had a similar problem, but I think it may be slightly different. My privacy settings was set to Everyone, but my Gamerpicture wouldn't update for the rest of the world to see. I would sign out, see if it changed and no it didn't but locally it was fine
to view. And then there was the problem of only seeing the region not a motto, or bio just to add to the stress.

I remember once when changing your Gamertag in the party sometimes for some reason it doesn't update. Or when you change your gamerpicture sometimes it doesn't update or refresh to the new one. I know it sounds like some typical troubleshooting line but
I would do it if I was in your position. When I cleared my system cache for some reason updated my correct gamerpicture when viewing on a different account of mine. I don't know why it does that but it did. The same with showing me my correct gamertag in the
party to myself. At least give that a try? Sometimes doing that works miracles when it's probably not even thinking it will do anything. Then there is the problem with game history. Is that set to everyone too, or is that playing up?

Reason I think clearing the system cache might work is because when you typed in your motto, bio, etc onm your console. It may have not registered that you did so, but is appearing there for the sake of it. As far as logic I honestly can't think of why it
would do that unless there's something that needs to be refreshed. And the only reason I can think of that your friends can't see it, is for the same reason, when setting it locally it didn't register but displays locally. Try giving your hard drive cache
a clear out, but before you do, go through each category in the hard drive like Games and Apps, Gamerpictures, Cemos, etc - Give any file that has a yellow error icon a delete. Then after that just clear the system cache. After that re-set the Motto, bio,
etc sign out, and try signing back in.

It truly is amazing how much stuff gets messed up through system cache.

I've already cleared the cache multiple times as well, on both the hard drive and memory unit. Nothing. But this time I deleted all the yellow icons and updated a profile, signed out and on to another to look at it and still nothing...

I know you have profile sharing set to everyone, but what about your game history? If you have it set to not share your game play history, it will also block your profile for some reason.

 

Nah, it doesn't. It only makes it so no one can see my achievement history or if I'm offline it shows a blank box instead of my last played game in the box under the motto.

 

You still may want to try it if you do have it blocked. I know that was an issue a few years ago, but not sure if it is something that still happens.

 

It's not the game activity and I know it's not because I changed it to Blocked only a couple of weeks ago and this problems been happening for a month or more now.
