    My profile not receiving invites to parties and games


    For the past couple of days, I have not been able to receive any invites to party and games even though the person said they did. I checked everything on my account settings and nothing has turned off this feature. It also seems to only be having
    an affect on one profile because wry I switch to my brother's account, he gets invites with ease. So I don't understand what is going,but I want to fix this problem as soon as possible.

    Not receiving any notifications on the Xbox one

    This has been happening for at least the past month. I am not receiving notifications when my friends invite me to games or parties. I don't receive achievement notifications or when people be online. I also have had issues with being able to invite my friends
    to games. When I try to invite them the option is greyed out. I have already deleted my profile from the Xbox and re-downloaded it and I have hard reset the Xbox.

    Windows 10 Xbox App No Notifications

    I am not receiving party invites on my Xbox Windows 10 App. This makes it very difficult to join my friend's parties sometimes.

    I can join parties and receive party invites just fine. The problem is the game invites. For example, I was trying to play Call of Duty: Warzone through a Looking For Group post. I join the party but then don't receive the game invite and can't invite
    them to my game.

    Same here - playing EA NHL Legacy on Xbox 360 - can't send game invites. Can't send any messages on Xbox 360. Can join another person's party by going to their profile and clicking join party, but can't send or receive a party invite. Even if they are in a joinable game though, the "Join Game" option does not appear on their profile, so without game invites there's no way for us to play a game together. This is awful - any fix soon?

    Sometime if you are in early update rings (Insider), issues like these will appear from time to time. Otherwise, try what the others have suggested
    I'm not in the insider program, but thank you for mentioning.

    You probably need to go into your privacy settings and change the setting that pertains to who you receive invites and messages from. If it's on Blocked, you will not be able to receive these things.

    A. Press the Xbox button in the middle of the controller

    B. Go to system tab

    C. Select settings

    D. Select account

    E. Select privacy and online safety

    F. Select Xbox Live privacy

    G. Select view details & customize

    H. Select Multiplayer and communication (find the setting that asks from who to receive invites, texts, etc.. set to either Everyone or Friends)

    Are you under a family account? If you are, your account may be restricted from receiving invitations on certain games or at all.
