My profile is gone!!!!!

Okay, so last night I decided to get on my xbox, but when I got on..... My profile was gone. I tried to download it but I got an error. I tried clearing my system cache, but that didn't work. I decided to go to bed and hope that it would be working in the
morning, but it wasn't. Can someone help?

My Xbox Profile is gone!!!!

Under Storage it says my Hard Drive and Cloud Saved Games. Under Hard Drive it says I have 0 KB through all applications.

I also tried removing the hard drive and putting it back in but nothing changed.

My console froze so I shut it off, unplugged it, waited the full minute until replugged it back in and turned it on.

Now my xbox live profile is gone, it says I have no memory for games, avatars, etc, will say 'sorry xbox live profiles cannot be downloaded right now, error code: 8007045D' and will not let me clear my system cache to try to restart the download for my existing
xbox profile.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Can you please post the error code you receive when you try to download the account?

I tried all of the steps except no.4, because when I go to try and delete my profile, it doesn't show up. Its like someone erased everything off my hard drive. My profiles are gone, all my games are gone, all my saves are gone, etc. . So what should I do
now?

That awfully sounds as if something went wrong with your storage device.

Can you check if this resolves your issue:

Turn the console off. Follow the instructions on that site here for
removing and re-installing the hard drive of your console.

If the console correctly recognizes your hard drive, and your data is still missing, then I'm afraid your savegame data is lost.

You can download your profile again by pressing the Guide button, and choosing to "Download Profile".

Then enter your Microsoft Account email and Password.

Before you enter the password, check on the
site for Account Protection if your Gamertag account is protected from hacking and hijacking by Two Step Verification.

If your account is protected by Two Step Verification, you need to create a so called App Password on that page and use that password instead of your regular password on your 360 when you download your Profile.

 

so I did all that, but when I try to download my profile, it says there's an error when signing in and if the problem persists, I should go to xbox.com/support. Any ideas?

 

Is there a an error code when this happens? If so, is it the same as you posted above or different?

 

Ok, it could still be an issue with the storage device though and that is what is not allowing you to download the tag. Are you able to try removing the hard drive and downloading your gamertag then?

Just to be sure,

when you check the profiles section on your storage device, does it show any corrupt profiles? If so please delete those. They will say corrupt and show a yellow icon with exclamation mark. After deleting it when present be sure to clear the console cache
and restart the console before trying to download the profile again.

 

Can you try the following then: Get yourself an USB drive (no matter if USB thumbdrive or an USB hard drive). Just make sure there is no important data on it, as we'll let the console format the USB drive as a storage device.

Now turn off the console, and remove the harddrive, just like the link in my previous post explains.

Then plug in the USB drive, and start the console.

After the console started, go to the Settings hub on the far right, then to the System tile in the upper left, and then to the Storage options.

There allow the console to prepare the USB drive as a storage drive for the console.

After the storage has been created, try to download your Profile again to the USB drive.

Does that work now?
